A look at some of the top boys and girls athletes from Jefferson High School in El Paso

The El Paso Times is taking a look at some of the best athletes to play at the high school level in the city. The next program we are looking at is Jefferson. The Silver Foxes will be in Class 5A next season. 

Many athletes for each school were submitted and all of them had tremendous qualifications. We will keep the list to the top 10 based on factors such as professional career, major achievements in college and achievements in high school. 

Male 

Chito Samaniego — Football

Andre Sessions — Football 

Ruben Grajeda — Baseball 

Jesse Uranga — Basketball 

Joe Morales — Baseball, basketball  

Females 

Victoria Fragoso — Volleyball 

Sandra Anane — Track and field

Vania Anane — Track and field 

Yvonne Galindo — Wrestling

Evwella Munn — Basketball
