LAS CRUCES - A detention center inmate accused of second-degree murder was indicted on Friday.

Police arrested Enriquez in December 2019. At that time, he was charged with attempted first-degree murder, along with a slew of other charges, in connection to a 2019 shooting.
The 3rd District Court had scheduled Enriquez for a jury trial slated to begin in November 2020. However, the trial was delayed due to COVID-19, according to the district attorney's office.
