Where is coronavirus? Interactive map shows cases in New Mexico and beyond
Since early 2020, the coronavirus has continued to spread globally and that's included New Mexico. The United States now has the most confirmed COVID-19 cases of any country worldwide.
The first cases in the state involved a Socorro County husband and wife in their 60s who had recently traveled to Egypt and a Bernalillo County woman in her 70s who had recently returned from New York City.
