Chief is a 22-year-old gelding standing about 15 hands high. He is a "been there, done that" kind of guy. Chief is a very gentle horse, content to go on a ride with or without other horses along. He is well trained and will work off your legs when being ridden. Due to an old wire injury to his right front pastern, Chief has a slight reduction in range of motion for that foot, making him a "walk/trot" horse. Chief stands for the farrier, trailers and stands tied all very well. He is up to date on vaccinations, deworming and farrier work. The right home for Chief would be with a person wanting to do casual trail riding. The adoption fee for Chief is $450. For more information about Chief, contact Four Corners Equine Rescue at 505-334-7220 or visit www.fourcornersequinerescue.org.
