Cindy is a 19-year-old ex-broodmare used in the pregnant mare urine industry to collect urine, which is transformed into pills for women seeking hormone replacement therapy. Cindy was not treated well, but with care and time, she will halter, lead, load and stand for the farrier. Cindy is not a riding horse. The right home for her would be with an experienced horse person willing to develop a relationship with Cindy so the two can enjoy doing ground games. Cindy has much to teach the right person. The adoption fee for Cindy is $200. For more information, contact Four Corners Equine Rescue at 505-334-7220 or visit www.fourcornersequinerescue.org.
